Almost 39 Weeks!

Hello!

Well, it's the home stretch as they say and we are patiently (or not so patiently--depends on who you ask) awaiting the arrival of our baby. Save for the occasional poke or prod, she's not giving me much to work with in terms of labor clues. Guess we're on June's clock now, might as well get used to it! Maybe she'll come a bit early and choose Halloween as her birthday. Or maybe she'll choose Veteran's Day. I'd go with Veteran's Day because you get a guaranteed day off from school every year. Who wouldn't like that? Too bad she has no concept of national holidays yet.

Other than that, nothing else to report. Hopefully the next update will include pictures of an adorably smooshy little newborn. Let us hope!

Junie June

Today I learned that the woman who played June Cleaver, Barbara Billingsley, passed away. We were kind of back and forth with the name June, but I think that now it's semi-official. It's kinda like one June leaves and a new one enters. Anyhow, I loved her in Airplane. I thought I would post a clip from Youtube because it's just awesome. RIP Barbara Billingsley AKA June Cleaver:

Full-Term?!

Hello everyone!

So tomorrow I'll be full term. Which rules, because basically I can have the baby anytime now and it will be OK. So come on baby, time is money!

I kid, of course. She can take her sweet time. Although... I wouldn't complain if she came a little early.

So excited!

Locked and Loaded

Weekly update here... I heard a rumour that baby's head is "nicely engaged".

(To which my mom replied, "Well, when is she getting married?" Nice one, mom.)

Anyhow, it might not mean much--but I'm hoping it means that she makes her grand entrance sooner rather than later.

A girl can dream, right?

I hope everyone is doing well, it's been great weather lately. Saturday is my last day at work and then I start maternity leave. Pretty excited about it all! It's getting down to the wire, folks!

That's all for now, adios.
